VF Posts big Gain with Caitlyn
On June 1, 2015 I posted the July 2015 Vanity Fair cover as the Cover of the Week.  It featured Caitlyn Jenner as the cover girl.

The cover shoot was done by legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz.  The article was written by Pulitzer Prize–winning contributing editor Buzz Bissinger.

So, the question is:  How Did it Sell here in Canada?

The answer is:  Really, really well!

On a draw of 83,472, it sold 45,706 copies, for a 55% sell-thru.  Last year’s issue in this time slot had a draw of 83,637, sold 20,338, for a 24% sell-thru.  Therefore the gain was an increase of 25,368 copies sold, a 125% improvement.

The last time Vanity Fair sold this many copies in Canada was back on the September 2013 issue, which featured Princess Diana.
