Well another year has gone by, it’s now been 17 years for the COPAs and we have become an institution. LOL
THE COPAs have become the benchmark of excellence in Canada as the winners continue to push the envelope each year. I was inspired by this as TMU asked me for a list of winners from Red River College to show their students the standard of excellence that they can aspire too. This is an unexpected side benefit of the COPA’s, so I am gonna share links to the TOP 10 scores you can see what it takes to help raise your game to the next level.
UBC in the past has been the gold standard in the Academic Division, but in 2025 it was dethroned by Red River College, who even won two medal in the big leagues in the consumer division. UBC was dropped a notch with 4 silvers, first year no gold for UBC in 2025.

The B2B division, HR News Canada and University Affairs had the most medals as they each had 2G and 2S. Newcom Media was 3rd with a gold and silver. The consumer division saw Legion Magazine emerge with 4G and 2S, Travel Zoo was second with 3G, Ideon Media was third with 3S. The Media division saw CBC/Radio Canada on top this year with 3G and 1S, Discourse Media waas second with 1G and 3S, followed by Village Media with 2G and 1S.
New winners this year were HR News Canada, Les Affairs, Toronto Journal, Legislative Assembly of Ontario, LS Times TV, Canada Media Fund, UofT Magazine, Les As de L’info and Wealthsimple Media.
