Dan Rubinstein leaving Canadian Geographic
Canadian Geographic managing editor/acting editor Dan Rubinstein said he will be leaving his post. His last day will be Friday, Dec. 21.
Rubinstein joined Canadian Geographic in 2008. He moves on to a writing and editing contract with the Canada Foundation for Innovation, and to pursue some "personal writing projects that have sat on the back-burner for too long," Rubinstein said.
"Over the last four-plus years, one of the true pleasures of this job has been working with so many talented and creative contributors across Canada. I will miss that immensely," he said. Rubinstein added that an eventual return to the magazine industry was a possibility.
