Dan Rubinstein, editor of Unlimited, is leaving the magazine he helped found for a senior editor position at Canadian Geographic. There, he'll replace Elizabeth Shilts, who was with the Ottawa-based magazine for 12 years and recently departed for a job as an editor/writer with the Canadian Foundation for Innovation.
Unlimited, published out of Edmonton by Venture Publishing Inc., was launched last fall. Aimed at 20-35 year old business up and comers , it won a National Magazine Award for Art Direction for an Entire Issue at this year's ceremony.
Look for an interview with Rubinstein in the next few days.
