
Morris would not provide any details, saying only that the magazines are “for sale,” while calls to Rive Gauche owner/publisher Olivier Felicio and editor-in-chief Leslie Wu were not returned. However, the Rive Gauche automated voice messaging system lists Canadian Jeweller and Style as properties, while the Canadian Jeweller website has also been rebranded.
Canadian Jeweller and Style are two of the country’s oldest titles, founded in 1879 and 1888 respectively. Morris acquired full ownership of them in July 2001, when he purchased Pat MacLean’s 50% stake in Style Communications Inc.
