The CMC announces its 2015 award winners
The Circulation Management Association of Canada (CMC) held its annual CMC awards on June 4 in order to recognize and honour the excellent circulation work being done in the Canadian publishing industry. Nominees and guests gathered in downtown Toronto at Hotel Ocho to hear this year’s results.

2015 Vendor Award
This award recognizes the outstanding contribution of an individual working with a vendor in support of the Canadian publishing industry – a remarkable person who helps magazine circulation experts excel at what they do.
Winner: Michael Fong, Assistant Category Manager, Books & Magazines at Shopper's Drug Mart
2015 Volunteer of the Year
This prestigious award recognizes the outstanding achievement of an individual volunteer who has served the publishing industry in Canada by advancing audience development practices.
Winner: Arlene Shepard, Vice President, Press Management at Gateway Newsstands
2015 CMC Scholarship
A $5,000 bursary to go towards professional development.
Winner: Steve Rosling, Account Executive, Coast to Coast
2015 Magazine of the Year
Recognizing outstanding achievement in overall performance, consistent with ongoing promotional efforts throughout 2014 that combined to reach stated circulation goals
Winner: Ricardo
2015 Lifetime Achievement Award
This award honours an individual in the Canadian publishing industry for a body of work that represents an extraordinary legacy of achievement in magazine marketing.
Winner: Sarah Watt, Abacus Circulation
Recognizing outstanding work in a circulation campaign.
