Type Books is Magazines Canada’s Retailer of the Year
Earlier this month Type Books was named Magazines Canada’s Retailer of the Year for 2014. The annual award is given to a client of Magazines Canada’s distribution service who cultivates a connection between its consumers and Canadian magazines.
Type Books, located on Queen Street West in Toronto, has been in operation since 2006 and has always been committed to having Canadian magazines available for its customers, such as Border Crossings and Canadian Art.
Last year, in celebration of chikaDEE magazine's 35th anniversary the store had window designer Kalpna Patel create a front window treatment for the occasion. Type Books was also the set for the Magazines Canada's short film, Anything Can Happen at a Magazine Stand.
Congratulations to Type Books.
