Style at Home is taking its name one step further by offering is own stylish home products that readers can buy.

The home decor magazine launched its own limited edition line of kitchen, bath, bedroom and home decor items in celebration of the magazine’s 15th anniversary, for sale exclusively at styleathome.com/shop.
 
Editor-in-chief, Erin McLaughlin and the Style at Home design team created 50 items that range in price from $35 to $150 (Springs Canada, the merchandising/distribution partner, provided input). The line includes duvet cover sets, pillows, Egyptian cotton towels, bedding, linens and ceramic kitchen accessories.


“We purposely designed a select line of must-have decor items that I know Style at Home readers will love,” commented Erin McLaughlin. “Designed to be simple, chic and timeless, these are pieces that will instantly transform any room into a magazine-worthy space and will allow our readers to incorporate the Style at Home brand into their homes.”

The products will be available until sold out.

Is this part of a bigger shift for the magazine? "Style at Home has had great success producing special interest publications and hosting events, so moving into merchandise was a natural extension of our brand," noted Caroline Andrews, vice president and group publisher.

Magazines selling unique products may be part of a bigger trend. Recently, Cool! magazine (TVA) launched a line of branded merchandise in Quebec. Other magazines, like Cottage Life, sell branded apparel.

The 15th anniversary October issue of Style at Home hits newsstands across Canada on Sept. 10.
