SABEW Best in Business Awards deadline approaching
 
The Society of American Business Editors and Writers’ is holding its first ever Best in Business Canada Awards—Canada’s only business-focused awards program run by and for journalists. Each entry costs $65 and only SABEW members are permitted to apply. 

Online and print submissions are both allowed in the nine categories which include: best reporting, commentary, feature, investigative, multimedia, package or ongoing series, personal finance and investing, and profile.

SABEW is an extension of the Society of Business Editors and Writers in the U.S., which formed in 1964. It currently has more than 3,400 members across North America and internationally and includes institutions like The New York Times, CNN and The Wall Street Journal, The Globe and Mail, Reuters, Canadian Press, National Post and Maclean’s.

The deadline to submit eligible work is Jan. 28. Winners will be notified in February and a list will be posted online. For more information visit the website.
