Eighteen comments and more than 100 hits — and it's barely a few hours old.

That's Jaclyn Law's new blog, EditFish, which will now be featured on Masthead on an ongoing basis.


The blog will cover the business of magazine editorial from both sides of the editor's desk, as Law has experience as a freelance writer as well as an editor. The self-professed "magazine junkie" is also the president of the Toronto Chapter of the Professional Writers Association of Canada, and former copy chief at Chatelaine.

EditFish promises to pick up where Dream Job TK, a popular career blog by Corinna vanGerwen, left off. VanGerwen offered her last post on that blog near the end of 2011.
