The Kit Compact goes national
May 2016 issue of The Kit Compact
The Kit Compact, which launched in September 2015, is expanding its demographic beyond Toronto, and will now be distributed in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa.

Circulation will now reach 125,000 readers and each issue will feature local content.

“I’m delighted that The Kit Compact is going national,” Laura deCarufel, editor-in-chief of The Kit, said. “Our team has had so much fun creating engaging content for Torontonians—now we’re committed to discovering the best of the rest of Canada. We’ve created a network of influencers across the country who will each be contributing local content and amplifying every issue socially. Each edition will be a celebration of that city’s most stylish people, places and things, plus compelling national coverage. I can’t wait to get started.”

As was the case in Toronto, The Kit Compact will be distributed throughout the newly added cities by brand ambassadors at busy street corners, specifically targeting fashion forward women. Copies will also be available at guest services in select malls across the country, due to a partnership with Cadillac Fairview.

The Kit Compact’s Arts & Trends issue hits the streets September 12 to 16.
