Terry Sellwood retires from Cottage Life Media
For 15 years Sellwood oversaw the strategic direction of the company’s publications Cottage Life, Cottage Life West, Outdoor Canada, Explore Magazine (2000-2012) and Canadian Home Workshop, along with its consumer shows across Canada. Sellwood was a key driver in the company’s success and contributed to its evolution onto digital platforms, broadcast television and social media.
“I am honoured to have spent the last 15 years of my career with this industry-leading media company and its incredibly talented team,” Sellwood said. “As Cottage Life Media continues its evolution in this new era of publishing, I know they will continue to be a trailblazer in this space.”
Penny Caldwell, the current editor of Cottage Life magazine has now been appointed publisher, and executive editor Michelle Kelly, will take on the role of editor.
Cottage Life recently took home a CSME award for magazine of the year, and an NMA for best magazine brand.
