The 58th Edition of the 504-page Associated Press Stylebook contains more than 200 new and revised entries from 2024’s AP Stylebook Online, as well as several first-time entries. Highlights include a revised AI chapter with new and updated entries to keep up with AI’s rapid growth, guidance on writing about conflicts with entries on assassination, war, and genocide, updated entries on the evolving language of race-related coverage, and the changing of two-word terms to single words to reflect popular usage – such as healthcare and primetime.
