The Atlantic Journalism Awards (AJAs) is now accepting nominations for its Lifetime Achievement Award. Any individual in Atlantic Canada who has made valuable contributions to the journalistic industry throughout their career can be submitted.

To submit a candidate, a letter highlighting why the individual should be honoured and any related material is required.  Entries must be received by Monday, February 2, 2015 to be considered, and the winner will be presented with the award at a gala dinner on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel.

The AJAs is an annual event that recognizes journalistic excellence and achievement in print and electronic news media in Atlantic Canada. Since its inception approximately 1,400 journalists have been recognized.
