To avoid any conflicts of interest, judges are placed in three-person panels in categories for which they or their employers and competitors have not entered. All the COPA categories are posted here.

The COPAs have also announced that Canadian Art and B.C. Medical Journal are the winners in the early-bird entry giveaway contest. Each has won a $1,300 pass to the Folio Show/Media Next event this October in New York City.

The COPA entry giveaway continues, with four copies of the min Mobile App Report (value $399 each) and six passes to min digital publishing webinars (value $329 each) up for grabs.

New for 2012, all COPA winners, finalists, judges and sponsors will be published in the COPA Yearbook: The Who's Who of Digital Publishing in Canada, a special case-bound book.

The COPA Awards event takes place Oct. 22 at a new venue, The Hoxton, at Bathurst and King streets in downtown Toronto.
