People in Publishing: Changes at Toronto Life, Canadian Family, Maclean's
Caroline Korycki is the new marketing and promotions manager at Toronto Life magazine. She was previously with Espresso, an integrated brand agency in Toronto.

Penny Hicks is the new publisher of Maclean's, previously serving as the ad director of Maclean's and Rogers French-language title L'actualité.

Rogers Media has announced two appointments — Gavin Roth will now serve as vice president of multiplatform sales, while magazine veteran Mitch Dent will assume a larger portfolio in the position of executive vice president of sales at Rogers TV.

Prior to joining Rogers, Roth was vice president of sales at Canada's Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium, while Dent [who has been with Rogers Media for 13 years] will oversee sales for Sportsnet and specialty television on top of Citytv and OMNI Television. Dent was previously president of Today's Parent Group and senior vice president of sales for Maclean's, Chatelaine, Flare, and Canadian Business.

Johnny Lucas will serve as publisher and editor of What Makes You Happy, a new magazine published by Everybody Eats Corporation. Lucas was previously editor-in-chief of Driven magazine.

Ann Douglas has joined Canadian Family as a contributing editor. Douglas is a veteran writer on the topic of pregnancy and parenting.

Jill Wykes is now editor-in-chief of Cruise and Travel Lifestyles magazine. She has 30 years of experience in the travel industry.
