L'actualit�, Quebec Science win big at Quebec Magazine Awards
 L'actualité picked up six awards and Quebec Science won five at the Quebec Magazine Awards May 10 in Montreal. 
 
L'actualité got the nod in the categories of best story (circulation 50,000+); feature story (circulation 50,000+); interview; feature story (circulation 50,000+); blog; service article; and the Jean Paré Award (to Jonathon Trudel). 
 
Quebec Science picked up awards in the categories of Magazine of the Year; story (circulation less than 50,000); profile; feature story (circulation less than 50,000+) and artistic photo art. 
 
Other winners included Clin d'oeil for best cover; Avant la pluie Atmosphere for photo story; Urbania Ete 2010 for best illustration; and Châtelaine for best photo portrait.
 
The best Web site was deemed www.urbania.ca; the iPhone Montreal Nightlife app won for best digital innovation; Magazine 7 jours won for newsstand vendor; Catherine Resch was volunteer of the year and Pierre Proulx was given the nod for the Magazine Hall of Fame.
