Year end Q&A: Brian Segal
Our year end Q&A continues with thoughts on 2010 and mantra for 2011 from Rogers Publishing president and CEO Brian Segal.
Masthead: What has been the most exciting moment for Canadian magazines in 2010?
Brian Segal: Subscribers and retail buyers helped Rogers Publishing achieve a paid circulation level of 40 million in 2010. That's a notable increase in sales from 2009, which in turn was an increase from 2008. More and more readers are buying and enjoying our magazines.
MH: What is your mantra for success going into 2011?
BS: Our strategy for 2011 is to continue to provide engaging content that our readers will enjoy and pay for on multiple platforms.
