People in Publishing: Changes at FASHION, Flare, Eye Weekly and more
Jennifer Campbell has left her position as online editor at St. Joseph Media-published FASHION Magazine to become the senior digital editor at Rogers-published Flare beginning in January. Campbell started with FASHION in 2006 as assistant editor/research and moved to online editor in 2008.

Taking over as online editor at FASHION is fashion blog The Katie Girls founder Randi Bergman, who has also worked as a contributor at magazines including Interview and V.

Eye Weekly has made its final staffing announcement of 2010 with the news Ariel Brewster is joining the team as associate editor. Brewster, who most recently worked as editor of St. Joseph Media-published Toronto Life’s Navigator section will be responsible for building and evolving the front-of-book at the weekly beginning in the new year.

Amanda Factor has been announced as web editor of Rogers-published Todaysparent.com and Canadianparents.com. She takes over from Natalie Locke Milne who is going on maternity leave. Factor most recently worked as online editor of the family focused Bunchland.com. Taking over for Factor at Bunchland.com is Meghan Housley who most recently worked at the National Post.

Spafax editorial director Arjun Basu has been named president of the National Magazine Awards Foundation, producers of the National Magazine Awards. Basu has volunteered on the NMAF board for two years and takes over for 2009 president and Outdoor Canada editor Patrick Walsh. The 2011 National Magazine Awards will be handed out on June 10 at The Carlu in Toronto.
