People in Print: Changes at Rogers, Golf Canada and Design Edge Canada
[This story has been updated] Lisa Tant is adding associate publisher to her title of editor in chief at Rogers-published Flare magazine. Tant has been with the magazine as editor in chief since 2004. Prior to working at Flare, Tant worked as executive editor at Chatelaine.

Also at Flare, Aya McMillan has announced she is leaving the magazine after two years as senior editor of Flare.com, prior to that she worked as fashion news editor at the magazine.

Still at Rogers, Steve Maich has been promoted to group publisher of the consumer business titles, including Canadian Business, MoneySense and Profit. Maich will continue as editor in chief of Canadian Business, a position he has held since July 2009

Julie Osborne has also been promoted at Rogers, adding the title of senior director, business planning, consumer publishing to her role as deputy publisher at Maclean’s. Osborne was hired at the magazine in 2006 as deputy publisher and added Canadian Business, MoneySense and Profit to her responsibilities in 2009.

Emily Nastasi has been hired at Rogers in the role of administrative assistant, consumer publishing. Nastasi will work closely with executive vice president consumer publishing Ken Whyte’s assistant Chris Johnston on administrative duties across consumer publishing at the company.

Scott Robinson has left his position of co-publisher at Chill Media-published Golf Canada magazine, the official title for the Royal Canadian Golf Association. Robinson had been with the title for about four years.

Ann Merideth Brown has announced she is leaving Masthead sister publication Design Edge Canada to join design firm Shikatani Lacroix as its director of social media and public relations. Brown was the founding editor of Design Edge Canada, which has won the Canadian Society of Magazine Editors award for Best Magazine in the trade division for three years in a row under her leadership.

Nancy Kay Clark is taking over as editor at Design Edge Canada. Clark has previously worked as editor of Masthead sister publication Graphic Monthly Canada and Seasons (now called On Nature) and won both KRW and National Magazine Awards for her work.
