MagNet 2011 to launch with keynote from Wired.com editor in chief
MagNet has announced its newly re-located 2011 conference will kick-off with a keynote conversation from Wired.com editor in chief Evan Hansen.
Hansen, who hails from Kingston, Ont. has helped Wired.com quadruple its monthly unique visitors to more than 10 million since starting with the brand in 2005. The website has received awards for journalistic and technological excellence from the MPA, AdWeek, the Webby Awards and others, according to a release from MagNet.
MagNet happens June 7 to 10, 2011 at the Courtyard Marriott in Toronto and will host over 60 sessions focused on innovation in the Canadian magazine industry. Stay tuned for more information on the conference as it becomes available.
