People in Print: Changes at Transcontinental, Flare, Media in Canada and more
Transcontinental Media has announced the appointment of Bruno Leclaire as senior vice-president of its new media and solutions group. Leclaire will be responsible for supporting the developments of the company’s digital offer. He is the co-founder of Jobboom.com and was president of Canoe Inc. for six years.

Roger’s-published Flare has let go of both its advertising director for the magazine and the group marketing director, who also covered Today’s Parent and Cosmetics.

Media in Canada writer Melita Kuburas has left the publication to study a semester abroad at Central European University in Budapest, Hungary as part of her University of Toronto master’s degree. Taking over for her is Craig Macbride, who has formerly worked in communications for the B.C. provincial government as well as at the Surrey Leader and Mississauga News.

Uwe Wachtendorf
has been hired as associate editor at Motorcycle Mojo. Wachtendorf formerly worked at Cycle Canada.
