People in Print: Changes at Hello! Canada, Eye Weekly
Hello! Canada executive publisher Tracey McKinley has announced the appointment of Alison Eastwood to editor in chief of the Rogers-published celebrity magazine.
Eastwood, who is currently deputy editor has been with the magazine since its launch according to a company release. She succeeds Ciara Hunt, who announced she would be leaving the magazine last month.
New additions to the Eye Weekly team under the leadership of new publisher, Laas Turnbull. Lianne George, formerly at Canadian Business has been hired as deputy editor at the weekly. Carrie Gillis, former associate publisher of Strategy is joining as the director of sales.
