OCW Magazine publisher named BCAMP 2009 Volunteer of the Year
OCW Magazine publisher and editor Tracy Stefanucci has been named the 2009 winner of the BC Association of Magazine Publishers' (BCAMP) Volunteer of the Year award. The award recognizes those who inspire their fellow writers, and make positive contributions to the magazine industry.

Stefanucci has operated OCW Magazine as a non-profit organization, staffed by

volunteers since founding it in 2006. Her work has helped propel over 40 industry professionals toward successful positions with other magazines and publishers.

BCAMP project coordinator Heidi Waechtler is certain the award winner was well chosen. "Tracy Stefanucci perfectly embodies the ideal publisher, says Waechtler. “She only appeared on the scene recently, and has been an absolute inspiration to those around her. She is always finding new ways to motivate, to improve and to promote."

Stefanucci will receive the award from BCAMP, alongside recipients in other categories, at the Cross-Canada Volunteer Appreciation Reception. The reception will be held on June 3, 2010 during MagNet. She will also be recognized at the BCAMP Annual General Meeting on June 12.
