The Syrup Trap brings its humour to print
The Syrup Trap, a Canadian satirical news website has made its way to print for the first and maybe last (their words) time.

The humour magazine was started by a group of University of British Columbia students, inspired by America’s online answer to satire, The Onion.

The first print issue of The Syrup Trap is available in the latest issue of Geist magazine

Why the jump to print? Well according to Nick Zarzycki’s in his first Editor’s Note:

...See as much as we enjoy writing for Canada’s favourite humour website, we believe that print opens up creative possibilities that are unavailable for Internet writing.
What are these possibilities? I don’t know. Nobody knows.

Readers can purchase the print version for $7 online, or read it inside of the latest issue of Geist magazine. The print version of The Syrup Trap is 16 pages of new and original short fiction, cartoons and of course, satire.
