Maclean's and Chatelaine lost staff
Rogers Media cuts 75 staff from publishing operations. As Rogers moves further out of  publishing, about one-third of the staff from the publishing and digital content division have been let go. Included  in the lay offs were  staff from Maclean' and  Chatelaine. There are now about 150 people left in the publishing division. Non of the frequencies of any of the publications has been changed .

 In 2016 Rogers discontinued printing FLARE, Sportsnet, MoneySence and Canadian Business. They also cut back the frequency of Maclean's,Today's Parents and  Chatelaine. Also layer off over 80 staff. The media division has become more dependent on sports. Even then the division does not even make up 2% of  Rogers.
