Report on Business (ROB) magazine has appointed Duncan Hood as its editor and director of features.

Hood joined the Globe last year, as deputy director of editorial products for ROB, responsible for reworking the Globe’s strategy for editorial newsletters and the launch of the Globe Investor newsletter.

He has spent his career in various senior editorial positions at Maclean’s, Canadian Business and MoneySense magazine.

ROB publishes long-form business stories in Canada. The publications motto is to produce exclusive and intelligent journalism that makes us indispensable to Canadian businesspeople and investors.

Hood begins in his new position at ROB on Aug.8.
