PMB fall data released; Reader's Digest still top print mag
Print Measurement Bureau (PMB) Fall 2012 data has been released, and Reader's Digest still leads the Canadian consumer pack.

Reader's Digest was credited with a readership of 5,350,000 (or 8.1 readers per copy/RPC) followed by Canadian Living at 3,792,000 (7.4 RPC), Canadian Geographic (3,558,000/18.3) and What's Cooking (3,444,000/3.1).

Outdoor Canada, People, The Hockey News and Canada's History achieved the highest readers per copy, according to the study.

To compare this year's top four with 2011 Fall PMB data — in that study, Reader's Digest showed a readership of 5,610,000 and 7.2 RPC; Canadian Living tallied 3,806,000 readers at 7.4 RPC; Canadian Geographic showed a readership of 3,235,000 at 15.8 RPC and What's Cooking was at 3,245,000 at 2.7 RPC.

An article in Marketing mag reports average readership and readers per copy are actually up overall slightly from last year.

The PMB 2012 Fall study is based on a national stratified sample of approximately 22,000 Canadians, according to the non-profit organization.
