Marked Business Media Inc., a relatively new company (with no website as of yet) has acquired Plumbing & HVAC magazine from Newcom Business Media Inc.

Newcom made news recently, when it partnered with Annex Business Media to acquire 67 trade publications from Vancouver-based Glacier Media Inc’s, Business Information Group (BIG), for $19.65 million.

Mark Vreugdenhil, president of Marked Business Media has published Plumbing & HVAC for the past 11 years.

“I am very excited about investing in this magazine and this market,” Vreugdenhil said. “We will continue our commitment to third party editorial content and the most highly qualified circulation in the industry.” 

Marked Business Media will continue to work out of Newcom’s Etobicoke, ON, office. Simon Blake will remain Editor and the company plans to add another salesperson in the future. The September Fall Heating issue will be the first issue published by Marked Business Media Inc.
