MagNet 2020 is going virtual and registration is now open.

MagNet: Canada's Magazine Conference and the Arts & Literary Magazines Summit have been rescheduled to November 26–27, 2020, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, said a press release from Magazines Canada.

Magazines Canada members will pay $55 for one day or $95 for both days. Registration fees for non-members will $75 for one day or $125 for both days.

The conference format has been tweaked: Each day will start at 11 am (ET) with a keynote session, followed by two breakout sessions from three program streams. The keynote speakers are John Wilpers, Senior Director, Innovation Media Consulting, on the most important innovations in media in 2020, and Jael Richardson, Artistic Director, Festival of Literary Diversity (FOLD), on taking critical, transformative action on diversity and inclusion. More than 25 speakers are lined up and other features include a MagNet Square where attendees can interact with sponsors.
