Farm.com Buys Small Farm Canada and Service Truck

Farms.com and Southern Tip Publishing Inc. has acquired Small Farm Canada magazine and Service Truck magazine, according to an announcement on the company’s website.

Small Farm Canada covers Canadian agriculture for small farmers and rural property owners across Canada. The magazine, subscription-based and published six times a year, is also available on newsstands.

“While many people may be surprised by our acquisition during the uncertainty of the Covid-19 pandemic, Farms.com believes that the strength and resilience of the farming and rural community will be proven once again” says Farms.com president and CEO Graham Dyer.

“We know that small farms account for over half of all farms in Canada, and research shows their numbers have been growing.”

Small Farm Canada and Service Truck will join other media assets in the Farms.com network, which includes: Better Farming, Better Farming Prairies, Better Pork, Ag Buyer's Guide, and US Farmer; as well as Agriville.com and the 15 state Ag Connections websites.
