InStyle, 5 other mags stop printing

Fashion mainstay InStyle and five other mags will stop printing with their April issues. Dotdash Meredith, owned by media mogul Barry Diller's IAC, has axed the print editions of six magazines including Entertainment Weekly, EatingWell, Health, Parents, and People en Español.

About 200 staff are expected to be let go as the company embarks on a major digital push. The job losses represent less than 5% of the company's workforce and the April issues of all six magazines would be their final print editions, the company said.

Dotdash bought the magazines last fall in its $2.7 billion deal for Meredith Corp, also acquiring titles such as People, Allrecipes, and Investopedia.

Dotdash reaches about 100 million online consumers monthly with its roster of 14 media brands in health, finance, and lifestyle.
