Gateway Newsstands appoints national operations manager
 Peter Wilson
Gateway Newsstands has announced that Peter Wilson has joined its team as its national operations manager, press. In the new position, Wilson will manage a full range of areas within the press department, which includes relationships and field operations.

Wilson comes to Gateway from Coast to Coast Newsstand Partnership, where he spent two years as an account executive. Prior to that, he enjoyed a lengthy career in publishing at Rogers Media, where he was instrumental in launching Hello! Magazine in Canada, which has experienced success and growth on the newsstands since 2006.

Gateway is in the midst of aggressive growth plans that were initiated last year with the acquisition of 27 former LS Travel locations. There are over 500 Gateway Newsstand locations across North America. The company specializes in mall, office and transportation stores with a new focus on hospital locations. It also operates a food service division (Bakery/ Café on the Go) as well as Gateway Direct Media for the circulation of free publications in TTC and GO Transit stations.
