Blue Ant Media has purchased Cottage Life Media Inc. The deal includes consumer publications Cottage Life, Cottage (acquired by Cottage Life Media earlier this year), Outdoor Canada and Canadian Home Workshop, along with their respective websites, as well as Cottage Life Media books, custom mags, apps, and the Spring & Fall Cottage Life consumer shows.

"[The acquisition] will give our readers and our advertisers increased media options that feature coast-to-coast interests," said Al Zikovitz, chief executive officer and president, Cottage Life Media Inc., in a release.

Blue Ant Media, previously a part owner of Cottage Life Media, is a privately held integrated media company. Its properties include channels such as Travel+Escape, AUX TV and Oasis HD, as well as web and mobile sites and tablet publication AUX Magazine.
