Weddingbells.ca, the website extension of Wedding Bells magazine and a property of St. Joseph Media, will live stream the Pronovias Fashion Show from Barcelona, Spain today at 2:15 p.m. eastern time.

This is the first time that Weddingbells.ca has hosted a live fashion show on its site.


 
"The annual show is considered a must-see on the international circuit with a reach that extends well beyond the bridal industry," reads a release. "With more than 2,000 international guests and press attending, the show boasts a cast of high profile models — including a selection of famed Victoria’s Secret models — and a front row of well-known actresses, it-girls and artists."

No special advertising has been lined up for the webcast, but it might become a bonus for existing site advertisers as traffic could spike.

"Since it’s the first time we’ve streamed a live show, we’re really keen to see the response. We’re promoting it heavily over the next couple of days through Weddingbells' social media and on the website," noted Angela Thompson, a marketing and communications associate with St. Joseph.

No one from the Weddingbells team is attending in Barcelona, but it will be covered by the team through the blog and social media, added Thompson.
