Business Information Group celebrates milestone, launch
One of Glacier Business Information Group's titles is celebrating its 40th anniversary, while the Toronto trade publisher has recently launched another publication.
Meetings + Incentive Travel recognized its 40th birthday in the Nov/Dec 2011 edition. Managing editor Don Douloff, who joined the magazine in 2007, scribed that this year has seen big changes for the magazine including a new publisher, Sonja Chilcott, and new owners (it was previously a Rogers Publishing title).
Meanwhile, Travel Management, a biannual supplement to Purchasing b2b, has been launched by Glacier, with the first issue for Nov/Dec 2011. It will also be published in May, and is directed at purchasing and procurement professionals, travel buyers, meeting and event planners and senior executives in all industries across the country, noted editor Michael Power. Circulation numbers for the new publication were not available.
