From Ontario to all of Canada for Silver and Gold Magazine
Silver and Gold Magazine is expanding its reach coast-to-coast after receiving numerous requests from across Canada, according to its publisher.

The five-year-old magazine for adults aged 55 and over has entered phase one of its expansion into western Canada, with phase two planned for Quebec and Atlantic Canada in spring 2012.

"We were printing 30,000 [copies] in Ontario only, and now expanding to 75,000 after it reaches Quebec and Atlantic. We are planning to be at 100,000 [circulation] by end of 2012," noted publisher Suzanne Soto-Davies.

“It is very encouraging to see the demand for our product grow, particularly when so many print products may be having challenges,” she said.

According to Soto-Davies, the controlled circulation magazine currently has 1,000 print subscribers (along with 1,000 by request online). The magazine is primarily distributed through Metro (Eastern Canada only), Canadian Tire, Food Basics, Coffee Time, plus community centres, real estate, legal, Safeway (Western Canada only), drug stores, and vitamin stores.

Silver and Gold has hired Canadian Media Connection to support its national sales.

Silver and Gold is a bimonthly magazine in Ontario. The editorial focuses on the interests and lifestyle for boomers and seniors.
