Magazines Canada partners with CIG for subscription campaign
Magazines Canada has partnered with the Consumer Intelligence Group (CIG) on its annual Buy 2, Get 1 free subscription campaign, a direct mail campaign offering customers discounts on a wide variety of Canadian magazines.

A release from Magazines Canada notes the campaign will launch in late September 2011 with a dedicated website which will run until February 2012. CIG will be providing "specialized list and data expertise to fine-tune the campaign’s targeting and delivery". The campaign is a "win-win for consumers and for Canadian publishers", reads the release.

The project is made possible with funding from the Ontario Media Development Corporation and the Canada Periodical Fund.
