Elle Canada celebrates 10th anniversary
Transcontinental-published Elle Canada is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month with the magazine’s biggest issue ever.

Coming in at 300 pages, Elle Canada editor in chief Noreen Flanagan said the April issue is the latest in a line of record-breaking page counts for the book. “Our April 10th anniversary issue has 300 pages and the launch issue for the magazine has 272 pages,” she said. “Since last September every issue has been breaking the record for largest in our history. We have been on a real tear for the past six months.”

The April anniversary issue includes special features like a 10th anniversary “Mad Libs” from the magazine’s favourite Canadian novelists and a list of the top 10 beauty innovations from the past 10 years.

The anniversary also features the opportunity for readers to win daily prizes, including a Smart Car by visiting ElleCanada.com/10thanniversary.

Flanagan, who has been with Elle Canada since its second issue 10 years ago and  started as EIC in April 2010 said she has seen the publication grow into its own during her time there. “The magazine has gotten bigger in size, I don’t know if the staff has so that’s a problem,” she said laughing.. “Elle Canada has developed a distinctive voice, a sense of confidence and style. It’s nice to see a magazine evolve and it will continue to do so.”

The April 10th anniversary issue of Elle Canada is on newsstands March 14.

Elle Canada is published monthly by Transcontinental and has a readership of 1.5 million, according to the latest PMB report.
