People in Publishing: Changes at Today�s Parent, FASHION, Rogers Media and more
[This post has been updated] Caroline Connell recently advised her team she will be leaving her position as editor in chief of Rogers-published Today’s Parent on February 18. Connell has been with the magazine since 2002 and was appointed editor in chief of the title in 2006. She has worked with Rogers Publishing for 18 years, with previous roles including managing editor at Chatelaine and Today’s Parent.

Maarten Sluyter has been announced as the new art director at St. Joseph Media-published FASHION Magazine. Prior to starting at FASHION, Sluyter worked for 13 years at House & Home Magazine. He has also worked as art director at Rogers-published Flare, under the editorships of Suzanne Boyd, Bonnie Brooks and Shelley Black.

Claude Galipeau has left his position at Rogers Media as senior vice-president and general manager, digital media. According to Marketing Magazine, the announcement was made by Rogers Media president Keith Pelley in a note to staff earlier this week. Galipeau has been with Rogers Media for two years. No word on a replacement, or for Galipeau's future plans.

Kim Shiffman is the new managing editor at Allergic Living magazine. Shiffman worked most recently as producer of online travel deals publisher Travelzoo. She has also worked at Rogers-published Chatelaine and PROFIT magazines.
