Attention publishers: National AI survey deadline is September 16

The Government of Canada has launched a new national Artificial Intelligence strategy. AI for All aims to strengthen trust in AI, create new economic opportunities, and support Canadian sovereignty in this complex, rapidly evolving field. The Department of Canadian Heritage is seeking input from magazine, newspaper, and other publishers for its National Survey on the Cultural Sector’s Readiness for Artificial Intelligence. https://pch.research-recherche.ca/f/s.aspx?lang=EN&co=GAwb6Ccl. Please access the French language survey here: https://pch.research-recherche.ca/f/s.aspx?lang=FR&co=GAwb6Ccl. Both surveys will be accessible until September 15, 2026.
Responses will be analyzed confidentially and reported only in aggregate form to protect respondents’ identities. As part of its strategy, the Department of Canadian Heritage is also developing a new Creative Technology Program. This $50 million initiative is designed to help Canada’s cultural sector adapt to rapid technological change, including the growing adoption and impact of AI.
