Nieman Journalism Lab director to talk journalism in 2011 at CJF event
The Canadian Journalism Foundation is hosting A Look Ahead: Journalism in 2011, featuring Nieman Journalism Lab director Joshua Benton at Toronto’s Innis Town Hall on Tuesday January 18 at 6:30 p.m.
Benton will be in conversation with CBC Radio’s Spark host Nora Young on trends and issues facing journalism, from iPads to paywalls.
The Nieman Journalism Lab is a project of the Nieman Journalism Foundation at Harvard University. It was launched in 2008 following Benton’s year-long Nieman fellowship to determine how quality journalism can thrive in the internet age.
Tickets are $15 for general admission and free for students and can be reserved by clicking here.
