Canadian Periodical Fund applications due November 24
The Canadian Periodical Fund wants to remind you applications and supporting forms for the 2011-2012 Aid to Publishers component are due Wednesday, November 24 (next Wednesday).

Aid to Publishers is the largest of the three parts of the Canada Periodical Fund, which was launched last year to replace the Publications Assistance Program and Canada Magazine Fund. The other two are the Business Innovation section, which funds projects to eligible small and mid-sized printed magazine and digital periodical publishers and Collective Initiatives, which funds projects for organizations designed to increase the overall sustainability of the Canadian magazine and non-daily newspaper industries, according to the Department of Canadian Heritage. In 2010, 484 titles received a total of $52.7 million under the grant program.
