The Walrus announces Montr�al debate
The Walrus Foundation, publishers of The Walrus is adding to its roster of annual events with the announcement of a Montréal public debate to be held March 30 at the Segal Centre in partnership with McGill University.
The Walrus McGill Debate will be an on-stage, moderated event focused on civic engagement and city building in the city of Montréal. “Right now cities are a huge topic,” says Walrus manager of events David Leonard. “Right now city building is a big topic in Montréal. We won’t be parachuting people in from Toronto, it will be a local debate.” Tickets to the debate will be sold through the Segal Centre.
Published by The Walrus Foundation, The Walrus is issued 10 times per year with a paid circulation of 60,000 according to its website.
