British Columbia magazine and Cottage Life were the only Canadian magazines to win at the 50th edition of the International Regional Magazine Association Awards.

The awards were handed out recently at the association’s annual conference, in Branson, Missouri.

British Columbia Magazine took home Gold’s in Best Nature Feature and Best Special Focus, Silver for Best Illustration and Bronze for Best Profile piece and Overall Art Direction.

Cottage Life won Gold for Best Profile, Silver in the Environmental Feature, Art Direction of a Single Story, Overall Art Direction and Department categories and Bronze for Best Public Issues piece and Best Travel Feature.

Both magazines were finalists for Magazine of the Year (over 40,000 circulation), which was awarded to U.S.-based Arizona Highways.
