MoneySense launches its own sponsored website
With a website sponsorship from TD Canada Trust, MoneySense magazine launched its own site late last week, Editor Duncan Hood, who started at the magazine in September, says launching this site was one of the first projects he became involved with at the book.

“Prior to this launch our content had been mixed in with Canadian Business and Profit magazine on CB Online,” he says. “We were getting some comments from users that they could get lost in there. That with content from the three magazines it was difficult to find articles.”

A clear, easy to navigate site that allows people to find the articles they need as quickly as possible is the aim of the new MoneySense site. It features sections that mirror those found in the magazine in addition to blogs from senior editors Bryan Borzykowski and Rob Gerlsbeck.

In addition to a launch sponsorship from TD Canada Trust, Hood says the site will be opening up to additional financial services providers who are interested in advertising. “We have divided the content on the site in the same way they are in the magazine so advertisers can purchase space in many ways.”
