Quill & Quire licenses book reviews for Amazon
“Canada’s magazine for book news and reviews”, Quill & Quire has entered into an agreement with Amazon to license their book reviews to the site. Although publisher Alison Jones isn’t able to speak on specifics of the arrangement, she does say it is a great opportunity for both the magazine and the Canadian book publishing industry. “I think it is great that this breadth of information about Canadian books is being made available to book buyers,” she says. “We appreciate Amazon’s efforts to invest their resources in the promotion of Canadian books.”

of the countries best reviewers, says Jones. Though she isn’t sure the partnership will affect advertising in the magazine directly, it will benefit the book industry overall. “If we can help sell more Canadian books with our reviews appearing more widely than it will benefit Quill & Quire through a healthier book industry.”

Quill & Quire has a paid circulation of 4,400 and a cover price of $5.95.
