Wine travel magazine to launch in New Year
Editor in chief and creative director Nicole Vallee says the idea for Brix Magazine, a controlled circulation book launching in January came from her travels and love of wine. “I realized there wasn’t any source of information in one concentrated area on where to go for wine travel which is a booming industry in North America and Australia,” she says.

website, Brixmag.com which will house original content and go live later this month. Contributing to the magazine herself, Vallee says that additional contributors will be sommeliers from across the country and around the world.

Tabloid in size, the magazine will be available through subscriptions on the website or in wine guilds across the country. She says the magazine is looking for advertisers in the wine and tourism industries.

Vallee says she hopes that readers learn about the passion behind wine from the magazine. “What I find most interesting is the people behind the wine,” she says. “Their culture, their regions.
