Magazines Canada seminar talks web and print integration
At yesterday’s Magazines Canada Get a Grip Magazine/Web Integration seminar in Toronto, senior agency and publishing representatives explored how publishers can better respond to the increasing demand for web/print unification.
Magazine’s Canada executive director advertising sales Gary Garland says the sold-out event focused on discussing the structure and rules of engagement
between agencies and publishers. “The three main points were how is media planning changing with the rise of online platforms,” he says. “What can publishers do differently to meet agency needs. And lastly, how can publishers integrate their magazine and online properties to ensure they have a higher degree of success.”
Their next event, the Magazines Canada School for Advertising Sales, starts today at Pillar and Post Spa and Conference Centre and runs until Tuesday. More information can be found at Magazinescanada.ca.
