Rotman School of Management and the Canadian Journalism Foundation partner to develop media management program
From Oct. 23-25, The Rotman School of Management and the Canadian Journalism Foundation will be hosting the Media Management Executive Education Program. Held at The Bank of Montreal’s Institute for Learning in Toronto, the program will address the challenges facing media executives today and equip them with tools to make smart strategic and operational decisions.
“There are no comparable professional development opportunities in the media,” says John Macfarlane, editor and co-publisher of The Walrus and chair of the Canadian Journalism Foundation. “So all too often, people like me who have been promoted to management at some point during our careers are forced to learn on the job. That has its advantages, but obviously has its disadvantages.”
Registration for the three-day course closes on Oct. 7. For more information, visit Ep.rotman.utoronto.ca/open/MMEEP/.
